The Encephalitis Society is a national charity providing support and information for people affected by encephalitis and their families, raising awareness of encephalitis and supporting research. The Society is advised by a panel of experts from all fields connected with encephalitis.

The Society provides direct support via a staffed Support service, information in the form of a regular newsletter, fact sheets, leaflets, booklets and the Society's website - The Encephalitis Information Resource - at www.encephalitis.info. The website has been hailed as the most unique and comprehensive source of information on encephalitits anywhere.

The Society has active contact with professionals in relevant fields and Brain Injury Rehabilitiation units. Tailor-made training packages are available to professionals.
